From wholesale flowers to seasonal farm experiences, here’s what you can expect when working with Teton Flower Farm.
Winter
After a brief pause, planning begins again. Ordering seeds and preparing for the next growing season.
Spring
Seeds are started weekly. Our geothermal greenhouse is planted in March, followed by planting in the second greenhouse in April.
Early Summer
Outdoor fields are planted in late May and protected as needed from early frosts.
Peak Season
Harvest happens six days a week. Wholesale orders typically go out Wednesday through Friday. Whole Foods deliveries head out Thursday mornings.
Fall
Annual plants are removed, and dahlia tubers are dug, washed, divided, labeled, and stored for winter.
Availability
Each week, we update our wholesale availability with the varieties and colors currently blooming in the field. Each week's picks will be available on Monday mornings.
Because we harvest based on what’s at its best, stem counts aren’t listed and cannot be guaranteed. Once you submit your request, we’ll confirm we have your preferred flowers available for your date via email. Flowers are reserved once confirmed, and during peak season certain colors and varieties can move quickly.
Placing an Order:
There is very little time when our flowers are out of water. This careful handling is one of the reasons our fresh cut flowers are known for exceptional vase life throughout Teton Valley and Jackson Hole.
We harvest during the coolest hours of the day, early mornings, late evenings, and sometimes at night so flowers are always at their best and able to retain moisture and strength.
We recommend reaching out as soon as you have an event date secured. During peak bloom in Teton Valley, certain varieties and colors can move quickly. The earlier we connect, the better we can plan around your needs.
Our season typically runs from March through October, with peak bloom in mid to late summer. Because we farm in a mountain climate in Victor, Idaho, we do not grow through the winter months.
Flowers are reserved once availability has been confirmed for your requested date and you have received a confirmation email. Submitting a form allows us to check inventory and finalize the details with you.
Flower production shifts quickly with weather, bloom timing, and harvest flow. Rather than post numbers that may change daily, we confirm exact stem counts once you submit a request to ensure accuracy.
The farm is located on our family property and is open by scheduled event, appointment, or wholesale pickup only.
During the growing season, select fresh-cut bunches are delivered weekly to Whole Foods Market in Jackson, Wyoming. You can also join our Dahlia CSA or attend a Cut Your Own Bouquet Night at the farm.
